Bluebird Recovery Program Celebrates 25 years! Come celebrate
our silver anniversary at this year's conference in Monticello, Minnesota on
Saturday, April 17, 2004

Annual Conference to feature Carrol Henderson (biology of
hummingbirds), Dave and Carol Fiedler (30 year study of bluebird houses), Tom
Nicholis (West Nile Virus), Keith Radel (on bluebird basics), auction,
photography board (new this year) and much more! Come, its free. Optional
lunch available for $8.50. Please register by email, phone or mail to
facilitiate conference preparations. April 9th deadline for pre-registrations.
You can also register the day of the Conference.

Call for Bluebirder of the Year. Awards will be presented at
the Conference. Individuals or organizations can be nominated. New this year,
the Dick Peterson Award for significant contributions to BBRP. Send
nominations to BBRP.

Texas Bluebirder hosts Prothonatory Warblers in Peterson Boxes
.. Sandy Campbell and Doug LeVasseur maintain trail of 50 boxes. 57 p.
warblers in 14 Peterson boxes!

Flicker Egg Dumping. Allen Bower of SE Michigan reports that
between 1966 and 1991 (25 year period) the population of yellow shafted
flickers dropped by 52%.
